Motoverse Edition of Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 launched, know what is the price
Royal Enfield has launched its new 650cc bike ‘Shotgun 650’ in India. The company launched this bike at the Motoverse 2023 event going on in Goa.
Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 has been launched at an ex-showroom price of Rs 4.25 lakh. This is the premium flagship bike of the company but initially only limited units of it will be sold. According to the company, this bike has currently been introduced for only 25 customers. This bike will be sold through a lucky draw to 25 people who participated in the Motoverse 2023 event.
Talking about Shotgun 650, it is based on the company’s concept bike SG650 which was introduced during the 2021 EICMA Motorcycle Show. The company has been working on this bike for the last three years and during this time, this bike has been spotted several times testing on the roads.
The first 25 limited units of Shotgun 650 are going to be very special. The company is presenting these bikes in hand painted scheme. According to the information, the delivery of these bikes will start in January 2024. Limited units of Shotgun 650 will be made available with extended warranty and roadside assistance service package.
Let us tell you that this new bike of the company shares its design platform with Super Meteor 650. However, the Super Meteor 650 is a cruiser bike while the Shotgun has been presented in bobber style. This bike will offer neutral ride comfort like Royal Enfield Classic 350.

This bike has been introduced in single seat in its original form, but customers can also get a pillion seat installed in it. Apart from this, the company will also offer many types of accessories with this bike.
Talking about the specifications of Shotgun 650, it has LED headlight and tail light along with turn indicator. Apart from this, the engine and exhaust of the bike have been kept in matte black finish. Like other 650cc bikes of the company, this bike comes with dual exhaust. Apart from this, the bike has been provided with upside down telescopic fork at the front and dual spring loaded suspension at the rear. The bike has disc brakes on both wheels with dual channel ABS.
The switch gear, instrument cluster and other electronic components of the bike have been kept like the Super Meteor 650. Although, the company has not disclosed the complete specifications of this bike, but it is expected that the company has used the same engine of the existing Super Meteor 650 in it. A 648cc parallel twin cylinder engine has been installed in the bike which generates power of 47 bhp and torque of 52 Nm. This bike comes in 6 speed gearbox with slipper and assist clutch.
