On Sunday morning, a man stabbed four people, including two children, to death in Queens, New York.

The suspect, who had also attacked two police officers, was shot and killed by an officer.
According to police, the victims of the attack include an 11-year-old girl, a 12-year-old boy, a 44-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man. As officials said, it is believed that all were from the same family.
New York City Police Department officials said they received an emergency call just after 5 a.m. from a young female caller who said her cousin was killing her family members.
When the police team reached the spot, they saw the man walking on foot carrying the luggage. When the officers reached him, he started attacking the police. One officer was stabbed in the neck and chest and another officer was also stabbed in the head. At this moment, one of the officers took out his weapon and fired, killing the suspect, CNN reported, quoting police officials.
The officer then found the 11-year-old girl covered in blood and took her to hospital, but she later died from her injuries. The fire department official who reached the spot found three other bodies.
Police have identified the suspect as 39-year-old Courtney Gordon.
